According to the BBC, a 74-year-old Italian woman was shocked to find a live grenade in a sack of potatoes she had bought at a market. Can you think of anyone who would not be shocked to find a grenade in a bag of wonderful, harmless spuds? I believe it was Voltaire that said, "a pin pulled from a starch only becomes a harm to society if society accepts the phytophthora infestans as a friend, not a foe." Well said V. Well said.
